ANOTHER YEAR OF EXCELLENCE FOR SARAWAK TOURISM BOARD

SINGAPORE – Another prestigious award at hand for Sarawak Tourism Board, this time, the BrandLaureate World Best Brand Award in Destination Branding category.

This Destination Branding award recognised STB’s strongest and most competitive appealing assets in promoting the destinations through linked brands.

STB walked away with the coveted award and pewter trophy, plated in 24k gold and adorned with the finest Swarovski crystal, presented at a ceremony held on October 31 at Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.

It was indeed a remarkable accomplishment to be recognized by the World Brand Foundation (TWBF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to develop brands in a myriad of business backdrops.

Led by its Founder and World President, Dr, KK Johan and distinguished Patron and Board of Governors, who are Statesmen and Captains of Industries, TWBF has been blazing the branding industry with its innovative initiatives.

Among other notable international awards won by STB recently were the Pacific Asia Travel Gold Award 2019 in the “Marketing Media – Travel Video” category with its “Why Limit Yourself” destination video and also the Malaysia Iconic Event Award 2019 for its Rainforest World Music won at the Malaysia Business Events Awards (MBEA) Night 2019.
